The 2022 Council of Women Covid Protocol is still being determined. We will continue to monitor the number of cases in our area as we get closer to the start of Council and update our policy to reflect the current CDC guidlines. We’ll do our best to make sure everyone feels safe and respected while at Council. Below is last years covid policy that may or may not be followed again this year.
2021 Council of Women Covid Protocol
We ask everyone to do their part to make Council safe and enjoyable for everyone.
Upon arrival there will be a set of questions posted. If you answer YES to any of these questions, please wear a mask and find one of the nurses on site to meet with (Walks Far, Oak Woman).
Screening questions: In the past 3 days have you experienced Yes or No
Cough
Shortness of breath/ difficulty breathing
Fever
Chills
Muscle pain
Sore throat
Loss of taste or smell
Nausea
Vomiting
Diarrhea
In the past 2 weeks have you been exposed to anyone diagnosed with Covid-19? Or with the symptoms listed above? Yes or No
On Friday during registration, you will be asked to again review these questions and have your temperature taken. This is the only time you will be screened. We ask you to self-monitor for the remainder of the weekend. There will be a list of the screening questions in each cabin and at the main lodge. Thermometers are available if you would like to take your temperature. If at any time you do not feel well or have developed any of these symptoms, please find a nurse for further guidance.
We ask that you wash your hands frequently especially before entering the main lodge. There will be hand sanitizers available as well as hand washing stations. Feel free to bring your preferred hand sanitizer with you to council.
Wash your hands before and after touching community items such as the coffee urn or hot water dispenser.
We ask that you clean up after yourself in the bathroom. Spray disinfecting bottles will be available.
Tables should be wiped down after meals and sprayed with disinfecting spray to air dry. Tables will be available inside and out.
We ask that you wear a mask inside the main cabin; when you are in line for food or at the mystic mall. Masks can be removed while eating inside or anytime outside.

If you answered yes to any of the above symptoms, please wear a mask and check in with a nurse.
